Receiving the Old Pros Scholarship was meaningful to me as someone who grew up in Scripps Ranch. I remember going to the Fourth of July fun run every year, which really showed how connected the community is and the role the Old Pros play in bringing people together. It meant a lot to know that same group is also supporting my future.

I am incredibly grateful for the unconditional support I have received from the Scripps Ranch community throughout my entire life. Without their love and care, I would not be able to thrive in college and be confident in the young woman I am becoming. The Old Pros scholarship has especially helped me pursue my college endeavors and work toward my future goals.

Growing up in Scripps Ranch shaped who I am today, and receiving the Old Pros Scholarship feels like my hometown and everyone who helped me to this point is truly invested in my future. I am incredibly grateful for the financial support from the Old Pros, which I know is funded through the entire community. The Old Pros Scholarship allows me to focus on my pre-med studies at Tulane. I eventually hope to bring the skills I learn home to serve the place that raised me.
